BEAMS collaborates! A pop yet tough messenger bag made from pre-consumer materials

CRUMPLER, the Melbourne-born bag brand founded in 1995 by three bike messengers, was first stocked overseas by BEAMS in 1998. Now, nearly 30 years later, they return to Japan with a collaboration!　The ‘MADE IN MELBOURNE’ lineup, entirely manufactured at the Melbourne factory, comprises four models: the medium messenger bag ‘BARNEY’, the crossbody bag “CAHOOT”, the small crossbody bag ‘TEENIE WEENIE’, and the new zip-up wallet ‘MIRAGE’. The vibrant, colourful materials feature an eco-conscious ripstop fabric combining recycled PET bottles, pre-consumer waste, and 1000D Cordura nylon. It’s reassuring to know it can be repaired even after tough, heavy use.
