Giardini di Toscana is rooted in a pharmacy specialising in perfumes, opened in 1942 in the medieval village of Bibbiena in Tuscany, central Italy. The brand, described as an ‘invisible work of art’, was evolved by Silvia Martinelli, the third-generation owner and perfumer, from a pharmacy specialising in perfumes opened in Biviena in 1942. Though available in over 80 countries worldwide, it had yet to reach Japan until its long-awaited arrival at the perfume select shop NOSE SHOP.
The Eau de Parfum range represents a new evolution within the gourmet fragrance trend – particularly prominent in the autumn/winter season within the niche fragrance world. It branches from the gourmet category (French for “food connoisseur” or “gourmand”, signifying rich, food-inspired scents) to embrace a broader spectrum of delicious aromas, forming the neo-gourmand style. The commitment to sustainability is evident in its 100% Italian production. Packaging utilises highly sustainable recycled materials, while the caps incorporate wood from forests damaged by natural causes both domestically and internationally. Furthermore, the brand actively supports forest regeneration initiatives to offset CO2 emissions generated during manufacturing. Wearing it envelops you in an emotive fragrance richly rooted in Italian craftsmanship, tradition, artistry, and sustainability.
