Tom Wood releases lucky open horseshoe ring to mark the Year of the Horse in 2026

Norwegian contemporary jewellery brand Tom Wood celebrates the arrival of the 2026 Chinese zodiac Year of the Horse with the release of the Felix Ring! Named “Felix” – Latin for “lucky” – the motif features a carved open horseshoe, a symbol of good fortune in Europe since medieval times, making it perfectly suited for the New Year. This new series is designed with Tom Wood’s carbon-conscious approach, using only recycled metals. Recycled metals reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 90% compared to virgin resources. The brand holds official certification from the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), the international authority on sustainability standards in the jewellery industry.

Based on the signature “Oval Signet” silhouette, the collection offers three versions: classic polished silver in small and large sizes with white rhodium plating, and a third featuring a hand-set, custom-cut black spinel in a tapered shape at the centre. This finger costume, designed with longevity in mind, reveals its timeless appeal the more it is worn. Available from Thursday, 18th December 2025 at the official online store, the flagship store in Aoyama, Tokyo, Dover Street Market Ginza, and other Tom Wood stockists.
